Dr. Winslow, Patty & Staff,
You all have helped make our dreams come true. We welcomed a healthy baby boy into our lives in April with your help. He is perfect in every way and we are truly blessed. We will see you all in a few years!
Love,

J. & L.C.
Dr. Winslow,
Infertility started out bitter, but slowly became purely sweet. IVF was worth every dollar, every mile, every second.
What kept me going in all of this was Dr. Winslow. He is methodical, objective, and incredibly smart. And efficient – oh boy! He didn’t give me time to get down on myself and start the “what ifs” – which is what I needed. He was always 2 (3? 4?) steps ahead which gave me peace and let me trust the process.
From the bottom of my heart, my soul, I am grateful to have found Dr. Winslow and FIRM.
Thank you for sharing this with him.

R H.
Dr. Winslow,
We cannot thank you enough for the miracle that you have brought to our lives. We tried for 2 years to get pregnant on our own, and then tried for a tad less than a year at another clinic. Incredibly, after one visit with you and your team we have our first pregnancy. We truly cannot believe it and are indebted to you and your practice.
To you and your team, we wish you nothing but the best, and hope that we can try again soon! From the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you so much!!

T., D.L.

Trying to get pregnant can be emotional and confusing, especially if it’s not happening as expected. There are many possible reasons:
Knowing if and when you’re ovulating is key if you’re trying to get pregnant. Some of the most effective ways to tell if you’re ovulating are to:
If you are not testing positive for ovulation, the best first step if you haven’t seen a specialist yet is to see your OB-GYN. They can confirm if you’re ovulating through blood tests or ultrasound. Check for common causes like PCOS, thyroid issues, hormone imbalances, and even prescribe basic medications to help trigger ovulation if appropriate.
If you’re under 35, try for 12 months of regular, unprotected sex. For ages 35-39, try for 6 months, and if you are older than 40, see a fertility specialist immediately and don’t wait months while trying.
It depends on your specific situation—factors like age, fertility issues, and how long you’ve been trying. Usually, we suggest trying IUI first if there are mild fertility problems, then IVF if IUI doesn’t work or if there are more complex issues. We can help you decide the best option for you.
